Pilots Share Iconic Shots in THIS IS MY CITY

In June 2025, LayerDrone hosted its first community campaign: THIS IS MY CITY.
Over the month of June, LayerDrone pilots were challenged to share their best shots from their favourite cities. Dozens of entries were received, with the community voting for their top 3 participants before determining a grand prize winner.

Each of the top 3 finalists received extra XP for their entries.
After the top 3 entries were identified, the final vote determined the grand prize winner: Matt (AKA VanCityMatt on X, or Ministerial-Whippet in the Spexi app).
Matt received hundreds of XP and a swag bag of Spexi and LayerDrone merchandise.

In 2025, LayerDrone achieved 40,000 community members and awarded 1.4M XP for their contributions.
In 2025, pilot contributors 10x'd while network coverage expanded by 307% YoY.
